Welcome to Copper Spur Mosaics, I’m Shayna!

I am a one woman show. I come from a family of strong willed, determined and independent women. My great grandma owned a construction flagging business while my grandma had also worked in construction or lumber mills her whole life. My mom also working in a mill, at one point. My sister owns her own construction business. It only makes sense that I found a passion in woodworking. 

I have always been able to vision what I want in my home but can’t always find my vision in stores. That is when I decided if I can’t find it, then I’ll make it myself! I was 7 months pregnant when I decided to build my daughter’s crib myself. The satisfaction I felt after the crib build made me realize that I was never going to go back to store bought furniture. I have taught myself everything I know just from trial and error, watching videos and a LOT of hope. I am always up for a challenge and willing to learn every single day.
